This Privacy Policy explains what information Vinxelnex handles and how. The short version is that the site is static and collects very little.
Information the site stores
Vinxelnex does not require an account and does not ask you to register. The only data stored on your device is a single browser localStorage value recording whether you accepted or rejected the cookie notice, so the notice is not shown again. This value stays in your browser and is not transmitted to any server.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not run third-party tracking scripts for behavioural profiling. The cookie notice exists to disclose the local storage described above and to let you decline it.
The contact form
The contact form on the home page runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the page simulates a short processing delay and then shows a confirmation message; the name, email, and phone number you enter are not sent to a server and are cleared from the form afterward. Because nothing is transmitted, the site does not retain a copy of what you typed.
External images and links
Photographs are loaded from Wikimedia Commons. When your browser requests those images, the request reaches Wikimedia's servers, which may log it according to their own policies. Links to outside websites are governed by the privacy practices of those sites, not this one.
Children's privacy
The site is a general-interest informational reference and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in how the site works. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
